The following plots along with their comments are for exploratory analysis.

In this section, you can see several figures, including wordclouds and frequency bars, showing the most common words seen in the case descripitons. From these results, we can see the outcome is usually not good (killed, for example) when such shooting incidents occur.

However, when we try to get the possible reasons, there seems to be many factors resulting in these tragedies. To investigate in detail, we analyzed several categories such as the gun types, targeted victims, possible motivations, and the mental illness history for the general public.

ALl wordclouds display 100 most common words. For the frequency bar charts, the number 30 is roughly determined by term frequency with a cut-off 0.004, and is used in following analyses.
